China's Princelings Gone Wild: Part 2 PIRACY in Western Philippines Sea (South China) Next?

Will the Princeling Gang of 9 Turn China Into A South China Sea Pirate?

How Long Can China's Standing Committee Use Nationalism To Distract The Chinese People From Serious Internal Economic Issues?

Southeast Asia in Crisis: Part 2
©  Millennium Media Entertainment, Inc.
I have a background in research and Intel from my younger days.  You simply look for patterns or what doesn’t belong.  Pretty simple to be able to see what is coming or why something has occurred.  Just watch for patterns or what doesn't belong.

The last several months as I have been covering China and Southeast Asia, I have been pretty much right about what really has been and is going on.

Anyhow, I was on record months ago saying that the newly installed Party Standing Committee Members (Princelings) in China were not the reformists as hoped and pined about in the mainstream press.

For those who don’t know what this Committee does, it is simple.  Nothing moves in China, without there knowledge and consent.  Nothing is implemented that the Princelings didn’t conceive or approve of.

They absolutely control anything their media does or says.  And, they closely control what news content the Chinese people hear from overseas.  This is one of the pillars of control over their people.
china.princelings-come201211re-300x148
And, their processors are not out to pasture or sitting on the beach in tropical Hainan.

They still wield tremendous power and influence.  It is important to note that at the end of each day, this is how China is run.

All versions of government departments or ministries report to these Princelings or Taishito. (In Chinese).

I read  that an MIT Professor said no one should be too alarmed yet about China’s announcement about boarding ships in the South China Sea, beginning January 1, 2013.  The good professor says the new legislation “wasn’t passed down from Beijing, as far as I can tell.”

dumbass1Two things come to mind.  This would be expert isn’t one.  If he was, he would know that the new Chinese policy is straight from the Standing Committee of Princelings and endorsed by the previous Committee leaders.  There is absolutely no way on earth the Hainan provincial government made such a major move by themselves.  None.

Next, I read recently that some one in the US State department was wondering if the Chinese weren’t simply testing international reactions.  They are not.  Nor were they insincere about their bogus territorial claims (Maps) on Chinese Passports.

Once the Chinese do these things, they can’t take them back.  No. There is no huffing or puffing about the new passports or boarding other countries’ ships, possibly arresting crews and impounding ships and cargo.

China has hit the point of no return on their claimed possession of the third largest sea on earth and where just over half of the world’s cargo passes through.  Backing down now would make the Chinese leadership appear as cowards or blowhards to their people.

prince 2What will come next is their taxing shipping in the South China Sea, assuming their grand scheme is successful.  They need money.  It won't be.

The best indicator for knowing when they themselves see problems with their economy is when they ignite the fires of nationalism in the Chinese people, to distract them.

China’s leaders did this last September when they enraged their people against Japan over World War II history and their claims to Japan’s Senkaku Islands

There were riots against Japanese companies and personnel in China.  Upside was that the Standing Committee distracted their people for a month.  However there was a down side.

The Japanese companies have reduced their output in China due to record low sales, meaning thousands of Chinese workers have been laid off. Whoops.

Japan is China’s second largest trading partner, after the US.  At risk is $345 billion in annual turn over in China, by Japan companies.  A recent Reuters survey indicated that 37% of Japanese companies in China may relocate to Southeast Asia.  Japan’s investments in SE Asia are now nearly $ 2 Billion doubling last year’s.

Also, SE Asia is the fourth largest importer of US exports in the world, not to mention some the region’s countries are US Allies of America’s.  I personally believe that the US is letting China hang itself, for now.  Don’t forget either that Obama is betting heavily on SE Asia for future trade.

That is cutting your nose off to spite your face.  And, if China had two noses, they would both be gone now.

South_China_Sea_claims
China's Claims. Hainan is at the top.
That is why they moved on to even more aggressiveness in the South China Sea.

They needed to rile their people up again.  But, boarding other nations’ ships in international waters, over a preposterous claim, sounds like an act of piracy.

Why is that any different then what the Somali pirates have been doing?

I am weary of the mainline press’ ongoing consultation about China woven into their content, which says we have to understand the Princelings and let these reformists have enough room to be effective.  Just at what?  Makes me wonder just how tied Time Warner and Bloomberg are to China?

Neither has been critical of China. Bloomberg gushed for paragraphs about how the new Chinese carrier was named, as it was a puppy and not a weapon.  Instead they pointed their yellow journalism guns at Philippines.

Time has questioned if there were two dynasties vying for control of the Philippines, as if it was some Latin American banana republic. A fair election was held. No dynastic quarrel.

The previous President, whose term was over and many of her political appointments have been charged with graft and corruption. So have many other corrupt politicians and civil servants. That’s all there is to it.

Time Magazine published an article by some grad students at the University of California, Berkley which claimed the Filipino people where divided over America’s military protection.

I doubt the grad students were ever in the Philippines and why would Time publish something that lame by some kids?

Maybe some of them were relatives of Princelings.  I'm half serious about that. Regardless, it was very far from being remotely true.

One of the little know benefits of China’s Princelings are their relatives, many of whom have Ivy League educations.  Hire them and you are wired into major China deals, which can be lucrative, if you are an American financial institution.

It was reported today that the Security Exchange Commission is investigating Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu CPA Ltd., Ernst & Young Hua Ming LLP, KPMG Huazhen and Pricewaterhouse Coopers Zhong Tian CPAs Limited for refusing to cooperate on accounting fraud by nine Chinese companies listed on New York exchanges.

tumblr_m3xhmiFKPi1qf9bz1o1_500These Big Four American Auditors say they don’t have to cooperate, since Chinese law doesn’t oblige them to.  Forgive me, but this isn’t about Chinese law.  These companies must comply with American Laws or be delisted. This is another example of misguided arrogance by the Chinese.

They demand to be on the Wall Street Exchanges and unregulated, plus own the South China Sea, board ships at will, blackmail Japan and menace the smaller SE Asian nations.

How far do they think all of this will get them?  China has damaged itself in Asia and the US, for some time.

India announced today that it is sending a fleet to protect their interests in the South China Sea.  The Philippines believes that just about anything to do with China and the South China Sea is illegal and Japan was been softly saying it may have to beef up its defense force.

America has stepped up its military presence.  None of this good.

Conventional Wisdom tell us that abused children grow into abusive adults.  I don’t think that anyone could argue that the Chinese have been until recently, the most abused people in contemporary history.

They were abused terribly by the Europeans and their own warlords for over 100 years, then beyond belief by the Japanese during World War Two.

They had it very rough under Mao & Company, until about 30 years ago when they go a punk ticket to the world’s economy, which they have abused over and over.  But, their latest shenanigans are too much and very dangerous.

The world is running out of patience with unfair business practices and intellectual property theft, as well.  Maybe this is why China was not invited to participate in the International Space Station, with the rest of the world community?

They have created levels of economic elites, who are a minority of population.  These people are increasingly outraged at being left out and the wholesale government corruption existing in their country.

Unless you are born right, you won’t be on the Standing Committee, own Mercedes or go to Harvard.

chinese-familyThere must be a shelf life for all the crises the Chinese government can contrive to distract the masses away from the glaring internal problems, China needs to address.

Sooner or later, these Princelings will have to face the music of the common man and the world.
