Press Release: Millennium Media Entertainment Announces Services Readjustment. Firm Will Focus On Its Talent Career and Coaching Services To Address Television News Industry Changes and Needs

MME President John Sheehan announced his firm was scaling back its representation services to allow more time for Consulting and Coaching Talent.

“There has been unprecedented upheaval with station news personnel over the last three months. This is a supply and demand industry. Currently, there is demand but not enough supply.” Sheehan said.

“I have talked with several News Directors and Recruiters about this and all agree there is a problem with finding qualified Talent,” he said.

He says the News Business has all of a sudden begun behaving like the NFL. “No matter if you are coming up or tenured, it is all about performance. Many companies now only care about that and if they don’t see it, then they will find Talent who can give them what they want, just like a pro sports team does,” he said.

He says this why MME is scaling back representation to focus on its ten years plus Talent Consulting/Coaching Business. “It’s simple. People want to move up and tenured people want to stay in the business,” he said.

“We can help both groups achieve their professional goals. But, everyone needs to understand that for the foreseeable future, it’s all about presentational performance,” Sheehan said.
